What a glorious sunny day it was today! So great to see the sun shine again - at long last! It's been cloudy or rainy on most days I've been here in Suva. Typical Suva weather apparently. So it's great to be able to show blue skies in my photos again.I spent the day by the pool at the Holiday Inn - soaking up the sun, listening to music on my iPod, being served by a friendly Fijian waiter for beer & potato wedges (yes very healthy i know). Then after a few hours I made my way back home by taxi (as they are so cheap here) but stopped in at a local shop to buy ice-cream for my chatty Indo-Fijian taxi driver & me.
